Dr. Huang received his MD degree from the Fujian Medical University, his PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at Georgetown University Medical Center, and his clinical genetics and clinical molecular genetics fellowship at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Huang is Board Certified in general pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics, in clinical genetics and clinical molecular genetics by the American Board of Medical Genetics.

He is affiliated with UCI and received the UCI Dean’s Physician-Scientist Award. He is also fluent in Chinese (Mandarin).
