UC Irvine pediatrics

The mission of UC Irvine’s Department of Pediatrics is to continually improve the quality of care for children by providing excellent clinical care, physician education and research.

The department’s faculty members offer a broad range of comprehensive clinical programs in two free standing children’s hospitals. CHOC Children’s Hospital in Orange is the primary pediatric teaching facility and Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach is our major affiliate.

The faculty is dedicated to providing a broad range of clinical services to an ethnically diverse community which is the platform for training the pediatric health care providers of the future.

We are particularly proud of our faculty, many of whom have received national and international recognition for their accomplishments. U.S. News and World Report has ranked UC Irvine as one of the top medical schools for research.
